About Me

Hi, I’m Laura, founder and host of The Kaleidoscope Collective — a supportive, trauma-informed space for those caring for children with adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma.  And lets not forget a sprinkle of neurodiversity thrown in for good measure!

As a qualified social worker, trainer, and therapeutic parenting coach, I’ve spent over 20 years walking alongside families, carers, and professionals in the children’s care sector. My passion lies in equipping residential staff, foster carers, and frontline workers with the tools, confidence, and community they need to respond with compassion, insight, and resilience.

Through The Kaleidoscope Collective, I offer a monthly support hub designed especially for staff in children’s homes.

 Subscribers gain access to:

  • A thought-provoking newsletter filled with reflective insight and consistent approaches to care

  • A live behaviour and strategy webinar exploring real-life challenges and solutions

  • A podcast interview  video, with inspiring voices in the sector

  • A best practice forum to share ideas and experiences, and troubleshoot ongoing stressors

  • Exclusive discounts on training courses in my directory

  • A growing library of online resources to support your daily work

I believe that when we care for the carers, we transform outcomes for children. This community is your space for support, learning, and connection — because you shouldn’t have to do this important work alone.

Welcome to the Collective.
